My name is Kassie, and I am a 31 year old artist who spent many years not doing art due to being in survival mode. My art interest started when I was young. I remember always loving to paint, draw, color, and create. When I was in 2nd grade, I remember winning an “award” for best artist to represent littering. I drew individuals wearing orange uniforms doing community service by picking up litter in the community. Fast forward to high school, my passion was growing rapidly, and thriving. I was in advanced placement art and advanced placement photography my senior year. Most of the photos in this collection are from that time period. I am hoping to begin creating again. Growing up since high school, I have had to face many challenges, but I have always come back to art one way or another. From photography to painting, sewing, decorating, drawing, and so on. I have recently signed up to be in an art gallery Nov 2025 - Jan 2026 in Granger, IN. Because of this spontaneous decision, I have kicked it into high gear of getting the word out about my collection and have begun offering prints, canvases, framing/custom framing, and potentially sessions in beautiful environments and/or events. Portrait and close up images are my specialty, as you will see in my gallery, but I do love learning and trying new things. In high school, I used photoshop to enhance and create new products from my original images. I will use similar programs to enhance the quality of any custom images as well.
